Poverty

Poverty, it is everybody`s problem. Everybody in a sense that boy or girl, young or old, even rich or poor, that is one of their problems. The rich ones are affected for the fact that they are irritated by the poor ones, isn`t it true?

Almost all of the Filipinos are considered poor. And it is so hard to accept the fact that the innocent children are the one who are affected too much. At their very young age, they are taught how to earn for a living, just for their own selves and for their family as well. At their very young age, they are already prone to accidents or diseases which can kill them and their future. No play, no childhood, no education, no progression.

Financial problem is the hardest thing faced by the poor people. Without money, no future. But, there is always a hope. Poverty is not a hindrance to one`s success. If you will work very hard, nothing is impossible. Determination, that is the word. One word that could change one`s life. One word that can defeat poverty. If everybody is determined and working hard, no one is poor, no one is begging for help.

Smoking kills!

It is well known that tobacco smoking kills millions. But it also exacerbates poverty, contributes to world hunger by diverting prime land away from food production, damages environment and reduces economic productivity. Second hand smoking also affects other people`s lives.

Despite many attempts to prevent it, a global tobacco control treaty became international law in 2005.

However, challenges still remain as tobacco companies try to hit back, for example, by targeting developing nations, increasing advertising at children and women, attempting to undermine global treaties and influence trade talks, etc.

Why you should quit smoking? First its for your health it can improve the length and quality of your life. As soon as you quit, your body begins to repair the damaged cause by smoking. Second is to save money if you smoke everyday pack by pack it will spend you a lots of money. Third it`s good for the people around you, cigarette smoke is harmful to everyone who inhales it, not just the smoker. Whether you`re young or old and in good health or bad, secondhand smoke is dangerous and can make you sick. And there are many more benefits if you quit smoking. It`s never too late to quit smoking :)

Corruption!

The Republic of the Philippines suffers from widespread corruption. Means of corruption include graft, bribery, embezzlement, backdoor deals, nepotism, patronage. This one of the biggest social problem of the country.

Nowadays foreigners and citizens alike say that the Philppines has the most corrupt leadership and economy. Corruption in the Philippines has become "a humanitarian crisis" and scandals increasingly seem to dominate the news. The worsening corruption has eaten up the right of every citizen to good governance, freedom, decent life, and more importantly his or her dignity. Corruption is a serious obstacle to the social and economic development of a country. In effect, the end-users are made to pay for overpriced goods or services or are made to deal with low-quality or substandard goods or services.

Despite the seriousness of the problem, people in government seem to show no sense of urgency or `mastery` of the steps necessary to fight it. The same government that taxes us must demonstrate that public money is being used for public good, not private greed.

It is our right to demand real change, action and improvement from those who take our money from and spend it in our name.

My Educational experience

I studied in a small school in Marilao, Bulacan during my pre-school, elementary and highschool days. I learned how to write, draw, read, count, add, subtract, multiply, divide and many more. At first I thought school was boring because when I was a child I`m a shy type kid like I don`t talk to others that`s why their first impression to me was "masungit", "suplado". In my last year in elementary days that`s the day when I finally getting to know my classmates.

As I enter my High School, that`s where all the fun starts. They say that High School experience is the best when you`re studying and I agree with that. Because I learned almost all of the naughtiness in life. This where I got in a relationshit oh, sorry I mean relationship xD and so many many more :)). And oh believe it or not I`m a honored student from nursery to grade 6 every year I go to stage :) but it stopped when I got in Highschool :3 LOL.

And finally I`m entering college now it`s awesome cause I met new friends with different personalities and I hope I`ll enjoy this last level of my education :)
